We are looking for professional development presenters for our inaugural Smith College Student Leadership Conference! This conference is intended as a space where key student leaders within the college - members of SGA, reslife student workers, house leadership, and more - can come together and develop a skill set that will allow them to support the broader Smith community.
We are looking for proposals for 45-minute workshops, discussions, or presentations on topics relevant to student leadership. These sessions are intended as professional development for the student leaders - we are looking for sessions that will help students develop their skill set, rather than only focusing on building awareness about resources in your department. These sessions will be capped at 30 participants. If you are interested in helping student leaders develop their skill sets, please consider applying.
We ask that folks applying to be presenters commit to offering your session three times on the afternoon of Monday, August 28 between 1:30-4:30 (Sessions run 1:30-2:15, 2:30-3:15, and 3:30-4:15) so that more students can experience it.
As a thank you for your time, we would like to invite you to lunch in Smith Campus Center 103/104 beforehand (we will send out details closer to the event).
