Submit your Proposal to the 2021 Calgary Libraries in Action!
The Call for Proposals for the 2021 Calgary Libraries in Action (CLIA) is open until the end of day Wednesday April 14, 2021. CLIA focuses on prominent issues and topics for libraries and information workers and students in Calgary and the surrounding communities.
Proposal submissions are welcome from library and information students and workers from the Calgary and surrounding areas. Each presentation will be limited to 15 minutes in length with 5 minutes for Q&A. Pre-recorded presentations are also acceptable.
What new projects and initiatives have you and your colleagues undertaken the past two years? What are troubles/problems your institution has faced? Have you come up with any unique solutions to these challenges?
There will be four streams available for presentations:
Library student presentations (LIT course or project showcase)
Public & School Libraries
Special Libraries (including museums, archives, galleries, or corporate libraries)

CLIA (Calgary Libraries in Action) will be held virtually on Friday April 23rd, 2021 from 9:30am -1:00pm. This free event is open to all library and information workers and students are welcome to attend!
