The Staff Council shall serve as one medium of communication for and between staff, administration, faculty, and students of the university on matters outside the scope of Collective Bargaining.

All non-faculty staff members currently employed at San Jose State University or an auxiliary at least half time can join the SJSU Staff Council and vote on staff council matters. We encourage all staff who meet this criteria to join us for monthly meetings.
