PARTICIPATE IN THE OPEN DISCUSSION SESSION
Sign up to request a slot in the Open Discussion Session to give a short presentation
  • The Open Discussion will take place on Saturday May 3 from 10am to 12pm
  • Each pre-registered participant may present for up to 5 minutes on a topic related to Chinese music in the West.
  • Please register in advance and briefly describe your proposed topic below.

NOTE: Space is limited and participation in the Open Discussion Presentations is not guaranteed. USCMI may request more information before selecting participants.

PARTICIPATE IN THE YAJI ("ELEGANT GATHERING")
Sign up to perform or present a piece of music, poetry, or art
  • The Yaji will take place on Saturday, May 3, from 2:30 to 4:30pm
  • Each pre-registered participant may perform a piece of  3-5 minutes in length, or recite a poem, or present a piece of artwork. 
  • Yaji participants should plan to speak (in English) for 2-3 minutes about why they have chosen the material being presented. 
  • A/V needs must be requested in advance. (Please note, USCMI may not be able to accommodate all A/V requests.) 
  • To request a spot in the Yaji please register in advance and briefly describe your presentation below.
