Thank you for your interest in Certified Welcoming. Welcoming America asks communities to cover the cost of assessment and auditing for certification, but we recognize that this fee may pose a barrier to participation for some communities. 

To support certification in communities where the fee may be a barrier to accessing the full benefits of becoming Certified Welcoming, Welcoming America will provide scholarships by waiving certification fees to localities who qualify.
