ALADDIN KIDS SUMMER CAMP
During this summer camp students will learn basic singing, acting, and dancing skills through learning the show ALADDIN KIDS!  Along with learning theater skills, students will learn basic performance etiquette and theater techniques all while meeting new people and growing in confidence and having fun!

Synopsis of ALADDIN KIDS:
When the street urchin, Aladdin, vies for the attention of the beautiful princess, Jasmine, he uses a genie's magic power to become a prince in order to marry her.  Iago, Jafar, the Genie, and more are here in Disney’s Aladdin KIDS, a musical adventure filled with magic, mayhem and the power of love. Specific to Disney’s Aladdin KIDS are the Djinn, a group of unique stage magicians who execute the magical moments of the show. Casting many Djinn to create the Genie's magic allows you to involve more young performers.

Camp Day Rehearsals:
Monday - Friday, 9am-3pm*
July 7-11
July 14-19
Friday, July 18- 9am- 6pm (show day)
Saturday, July 19 -1pm (cast arrival) 2pm (show time)
*Additional hours for childcare can be provided upon request at $10/hr.
A 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute snack breaks will be incorporated each day.
Dinner will be provided (at no additional cost) for the cast before the July 18th show.

Performance Dates/Times:
July 18 @ 6:30PM (Students arrive at 5:30PM)
July 19 @ 2:00PM (Students arrive at 1:00PM)

Location
All rehearsals and performance will be held at Legacy Church, 85 Summit View Drive, Ruckersville, VA 22968.

Eligibility
Summer Camp is open to all rising students Grades 1-8. 

Tuition*
Early Registration - $550 (Registration and payment submitted December 20- February 28)
Registration - $600 (Registration and payment submitted March 1-June 21) 
Late Registration $650 (Registration and payment June 22- July 6)

Sibling discount: $50 off for each additional sibling

Tuition includes the use of a costume, Light and Joy T-shirt, and dinner before Friday's show.

*Does not include lunch or snack, or jazz shoes.  All students must have jazz shoes for all choreography rehearsals and performances.
*A $25 referral discount will be granted to any person for each referral of a registered camper that is paid in full. Please note the referrer in this registration form so they may receive the $25 discount. Tell your friends! If you have fully paid and referred someone who is a fully paid registrant, we will contact you and a refund for each fully paid registrant will be issued via Venmo or check (per your preference).  

Light & Joy Studios strives to provide opportunities for all students to participate in our theatrical productions. We have established a scholarship fund to provide support to families that may need financial assistance. Limited scholarships are available and may be granted upon request. Because multiple camps can be registered at the same time, please state which camp or session you are paying for with your payment method.
