Homebrewers Village Application
The 9th annual Charleston Beer Fest is quickly approaching. We are thrilled to be returning to Riverfront Park for the 2020 festival.

1. The 9th annual Charleston Beer Fest is an annual charity fundraiser benefiting Palmetto Community Care.

2. The festival features an epic line-up of Craft Brews, Beer Olympics Games, Homebrewers, Live Music, and more!

3. Application does not guarantee entry. We curate the experience by selecting Homebrewers who will best suit the theme of the event and contribute to the overall event experience.

4. There is a limited amount of space at each event. Applications will be reviewed every 2 weeks and Homebrewers will be notified of their application status.

5. Paper applications are not accepted. Please submit your application online via this form.

6. Attendance Estimate: 3500-4000.

7. It is suggested for Homebrewers to bring no less than 432 ounces of their homebrew product.

8. Additional Information for Homebrewers:

Participating Homebrewers will continue to sample their tasty suds with the crowd, and will also have the chance to submit their brews to be judged by a panel of top industry experts.

Homebrewers will be scheduled to present their product to the general audience anytime from 1:00pm-5:00pm. The schedule will be predetermined and promoted to be sure your product is reaching a wide audience at the 2020 Charleston Beer Fest. We will alert the approved Homebrewers of their scheduled time by May 23, 2020.

Each participant will be provided with (1) table to display their product & materials during their presentation time slot. Homebrewers will need to bring their own cooler, ice, product, signage, etc.

The loading time for Homebrewers is typically at 9:30am. All Homebrewers should deliver their product in coolers, that are labeled at this scheduled loading time. No vehicles will be permitted in the park after 11am. You will be expected to return to the Homebrewers tent, to set and present your product at your scheduled presentation time. You can carry-out your coolers following the presentation, or store them for breakdown at 7:30pm, when vehicles will be allowed back into the park. This schedule is subject to change by event organizers.

To participate in the contest, all judging samples should be delivered to the backstage tent by 1:00pm. The judges will host a private tasting before announcing the winner of the event. You will be given an opportunity to meet and greet with the judges just following this scheduled tasting.

The product you bring is donated and we'll provide you with 2 GA comp tickets in exchange for your participation. You'll need to have your own cooler and ice, which can be loaded in and stored before the gates open.

Homebrewers who cancel less than two weeks before the event will not be asked to participate in the 2021 festival.
