An individualized approach to learning is becoming popular in colleges and universities as one means of documenting student outcomes. Part of the strategic goals of the University of Pittsburgh includes personalized learning. Carol Washburn and Cressida Magaro from the Center for Instructional Development & Distance Education will discuss how institutions are adopting this approach and the courses that lend themselves to this form of instruction. In addition, two tools for adapting different aspects of your course will be demonstrated.
