2026 Dr. Henry R. Scipione Award Nomination
The York Education Foundation (YEF) established the Dr. Henry R. Scipione Award in 2012 to honor former Superintendent Dr. Scipione, who was instrumental in establishing YEF in 2004. YEF gives a monetary award each year to an educator or administrator whose efforts serve to promote and advance excellence in education for students in York Public Schools. 

YEF invites local citizens, school staff, parents, and students to submit nominations for educators in the York School District who have had an especially positive impact on their lives. Participation in nominating a recipient is important, and all statements and stories regarding the nominees will be considered in the award selection by the York Education Foundation Board of Directors.

The York Education Foundation is an independent, non-profit organization of community volunteers committed to excellence in education. Our mission is to provide funding for innovative and challenging programs in the York Public Schools. We strive to enhance and broaden community support for public education.

The York Education Foundation seeks to award grants for exceptional projects and programs proposed by York educators at the elementary, middle, and high school levels.
