SCYR New High School Team Application
Thank you for being a catalyst in the growth of high school rugby in Southern California!

Please submit the following information for review by SCYR. If your application is approved, you will be contacted to submit a $175 New High School Team fee and to discuss next steps.

Application Deadline for new clubs wishing to play in 2022:  October 15, 2021

SCYR HIGH SCHOOL DIVISIONS:

Boys High School 15s:
Division 1 -- Varsity / JV. Maximum of 4 non-core players on the field at a time. Maximum of 6 non-core players registered for the season

Division 2 - Varsity / JV. Max of 6 non-core players on the field at a time. Maximum of 8 non-core players registered for the season

Boys High School 7s:
100% core school league. If a current or new program is unable to meet the 100% requirements, they can apply to still play in the division for the year. Any team playing with non-core players, will play as scheduled but all games will be considered non-league and therefore, not count towards season standings. This makes the team ineligible to compete in playoffs. These programs will be afforded a year's grace in getting themselves back on track following Covid or getting off the ground in the case of new programs.

Girls High School 15s:
Maximum of 4 non-core players on the field at a time.
Maximum of 6 non-core players registered for the season

Girls High School 7’s
100% core school league. If a current or new program is unable to meet the 100% requirements, they can apply to still play in the division for the year.
