The Lt. Governor's Computing Challenge (LGCC) invites teachers, STEM coordinators, school librarians, and other interested school personnel to register as a Challenge Champion!
Challenge Champions serve as LGCC ambassadors and receive rewards (gift cards!) for their efforts!
CHALLENGE CHAMPION ELIGIBILITY & RESTRICTIONS:
- Must work in an Alliance District.
- May represent up to 3 different schools within your district.
- Limited to 1 Champion per school.
- Limit of 22 Champions in total, awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Challenge Champions may work in other grades, but LGCC participants are limited to students in grades 3-12.
GOAL:
- Support teachers/students, resulting in 25+ student LGCC submissions (group and/or individual) from your school(s).
REWARDS:
- $50 Amazon gift card just for signing up!
- Challenge Champion badge (for your email/LinkedIn) just for signing up!
- Recognition at the culminating event, spring '25!
CHAMPIONS WHO MEET GOALS WILL:
- Receive an ADDITIONAL $150 Amazon gift card at the spring recognition event.
OPPORTUNITY! The Challenge Champion who secures the most entries will be deemed the 2025 INFOSYS FOUNDATION USA STAR CHAMPION and receive a $500 cash prize in addition to the gift card rewards!!!
