If you want to perform or run a project, here's where to tell us about it. Please answer the questions on this form and we'll be able to see if we've got the appropriate spaces for your art or ideas.
Deadline for submissions is midnight on the 15th March 2019.
We endeavour to reply to you regularly, however please bear in mind that we receive a very large number of submissions each year, and are a small team. All submissions will be responded to no later than 1 week after the submissions deadline (22nd March 2019).
Our Programming Priorities: - We don't programme to a theme, Brainchild celebrates the ensemble and we like seeing how everything connects.- We want our festival to be inclusive and for our programme to be made up of a broad range of voices, particularly those from communities underrepresented in their sector. - We want to see that performing at Brainchild will be creatively or professionally useful for programme contributors. - We look for DIY spirit, community building and leadership in the artists, companies and collectives we work with. - We want to people to have valuable exchanges, so look for things that will inspire conversation, interaction and skill-sharing - We want to promote bold ideas and grow people's imaginations to challenge broken systems and consider better futures
We endeavour to ensure all artists are paid a reasonable fee for their involvement in the festival.
