Hello! We are glad to have you as a part of the event. This is the general application for everyone. We will have an application for dark content and/or NSFW. Controversial content creators, this application is yours as well as you technically fall under general content, we just will have you using more tags to hide your content from those that don't want to see it.
The schedule will go as follows (will be adapted):
+ Mid-July/August - September 14th is applications
+ The rest of September will be the sorting period
+ October to March 27th is the collaborating period/working period
+ March 28th (Hetalia's Birthday!) is posting day for everything!
GUIDELINES FOR THE EVENT:
1) No WWII or Holocaust works.
The reasoning for the Holocaust works is self-explanatory. As for WWII in general, we just want to avoid the bad reputation the fandom has had with WWII content. If something goes wrong, the blame falls on the mods and we don’t want to deal with someone not understanding how to respect WWII. This means anything directly involved with the war such as nationverse during WWII or Alfred as a soldier, etc. Things taking place in the 40s that mention the war are okay. PTSD from the war is okay, headcanons that are an effect of WWII are okay, but no fics about South Italy getting invaded by the Allies. No Nazi fics. This event is not the place.
2) No Mafia AUs
As one of the hosts(Lluvia), who will have to look and review your content, is triggered severely by Mafia content, we will not be allowing it. Feel free to write it outside of the event or tags, but please, for the safety of the host who will have to look at your content, do not use this event for that platform.
3) No modern politics please.
This means things like American election politics, Italian politicians, etc. LGBT stuff is not inherently political and should not be treated as such. You are welcome to write about that with characters. This is more avoidance of fics about Notre Dame, 9/11, Sudan, etc. We don't want to walk in that area as it could lead to a large amount of problems for the hosts.
4) Use the proper tags. This means no crosstagging, making sure you use the proper trigger warnings, etc.
5) PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD TELL US IF YOU ARE DROPPING OR WILL BE GONE FOR A BIT. IT IS NOT FAIR TO US, YOUR PARTNERS, OR ANYONE ELSE IF YOU JUST GHOST US ALL AND NEVER TELL US.
6) Please take your partner(s) wants, dislikes, etc into consideration. Nobody wants to collab on something they hate or not get a say in the project.
7) If you are writing drabbles, you will have to write about 3-5. This is the ONLY writing requirement we have when it comes to a minimum length.
8) Notify the hosts if you are planning on working on more than one project with your collab group (everyone in the group must consent to this!)
