Nonprofit Partnership & Healing Art Vendor Application
Xpand Fest is a community-driven outdoor street festival with music, arts and fun in the South Slope of Asheville, NC. Xpand Fest is the signature event of Xpand Your Vision (XYV), an arts organizing nonprofit who believes that strengthening our community is the way to empower other cities, states and countries.

We are seeking nonprofits (limited space available) and Healing Art Vendors to be present at Xpand Fest on June 9th, 2018 from 12pm - 10pm! This is a chance for you to dream up a FUN interactive game or activity that will bring people to your booth and is designed to provide a unique experience for individuals to engage with your business in a non-traditional way.

One of the ways we will galvanize our festival attendees is through creatively presenting the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals (website for info below). These goals are designed for people and communities to come together to solve some of the most challenging problems facing our own town and the world today. Through using this global medium locally, it provides a platform for individuals, businesses, nonprofits and the creative sector of Asheville to come together to actualize the change we must make for the betterment of all.

** Each application is for a 10x10 booth vending spaces unless otherwise specified and agreed to

** The space for Nonprofits and Healing Art Vendors are on a first come first serve basis

** The vending fee is $0 for Nonprofit partners and $100 for Healing Art Vendors to be paid in full by May 15, 2018 via Pay Pal or mailed check or your space will not be guaranteed.

** All tents/canopies must be secured or weighted down on all corners with:
~ no less than 50lbs per leg (2 standard cinder blocks) and
~ must be secured with rope or string that has a minimum of 50lb test

** You are required to follow load in/out guidelines specified by Festival staff. Xpand Fest is an all day event. All Xpand Fest Craft vendors are required to have someone present in their booth for the entire event.

Each nonprofit and healing art vendor will be responsible for creating or bringing an interactive activity or carnival style game based off their business and that aligns with one (or more) of the Sustainable Development Goals. You will be responsible for setting up the booth, providing materials needed, and staffing their booth from 12pm-9pm.
