6.2 Reflection Question
Module 7 RQ 7
In the 21st century some Boards of Education still have a policy of refusing to supply ALTs with computers (other staff in the school have computers on their desk). The reasons BoE’s provide for not supplying non-Japanese teachers with computers are never clear. The laws here, as with most laws relating to ALTs, are a ‘grey area’. What are your views on this policy? Does the quality of education you deliver suffer as a result of not having convenient access to a computer? (give details why/why not). Does your BoE have this policy? (include your prefecture in your answer). *
