PROJECT Z 2024 - Expression of Interest
Hello!

We are so excited that you're keen to participate in Youth Dance Maker' Initiative's PROJECT Z. 
PROJECT Z is a youth-led screen dance project for young artists. The film delves into the theme "exploration as a rebellion against capitalist culture and societal norms." 

Youth Dance Makers Initiative is looking for 15 young artists, ages 14 - 25 to take part in the project. We want dancers, movement-based and film artists from diverse backgrounds, training and experiences interested in dance on screen, expanding their artistic practice and working collaboratively with professionals and other young people to apply!

How it works:
1. Complete the application below. We encourage you to copy and paste the key application questions into a doc to draft your responses. You can't save the form below, only submit. There are no word limits because we want you to be express yourself freely, but don't feel like you need to write an essay; use as many or as few words as you need. 
2. Facilitators Cobie, Erin & Chelsea will read your application.
3. If we think you're the right fit for the project we'll contact you before 10 June with more info. 
4. Keep Monday 8th - Saturday 13th July free! This is the big development week of choreography and filming.
