Hello! Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Chicago's Leading Edge Chapter of Women in Aviation International. 

We have a plethora of volunteer opportunities for you this year. Please read each option and select as many volunteer options you are interested. For some roles we need multiple people. 

Our team will reach out to you with more information and to get you set up for success for the board member you would report to during your volunteer time.

Volunteer Position: Girls in Aviation Day Volunteer Coordinator
Skills/Tasks: Help coordinate volunteers before and day of event
Duration: Duration: 4 months (starting in May/June)
Weekly Commitment: 2-3 hours
Event Date: 3rd Saturday in September

Skills/Tasks: Support marketing efforts 1 month leading up to and day of event
Duration: 4 months (starting in May/June)
Weekly Commitment: 2-3 hours

Volunteer Position: Girls in Aviation Day Registration Volunteer
Skills/Tasks: Get girls registered for the event and help with sign in day of event
Duration: 4 months (starting in May/June)

Volunteer Position: Girls in Aviation Day Sponsorship Volunteer
Skills/Tasks: Help get sponsors to help cover expenses related to Girls in Aviation Day

Volunteer Position: Girls in Aviation Day Food/Drink and Volunteer T-shirt Coordinator
Skills/Tasks: Help coordinate catering for event and design/order t-shirts for volunteers

Skills/Tasks: Work with Google Ad Grants and make sure we are in compliance and using the full $10,000 advertising budget effectively.

Skills/Tasks: Work with Google Analytics to see where traffic is going.

Skills/Tasks: Support with one event: Oshkosh, Pancake Breakfast, Hangar Party, Holiday Party, etc.
