Job DescriptionsMarketing assistants are hired to work with Sherry Lin, the Director of Communications of GSA, to keep the graduate student body aware of all pertinent GSA activity.Major tasks for and benefits of the assistant will be:1. maintain and update the GSA website (applicants with HTML/C language expertise or web design experience are preferred)2. design brochures, flyers, and related marketing materials (Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator skills preferred)3. collect information or news that is relevant to the entire graduate students' rights and benefits4. help with the "Grad Survival Guide" initiatives and "Grad Housing Match" platform4. paid - quarterly salary (at the end of each quarter). based on applicant's skill. Around $300-$400 per quarter.5. create your own initiatives that can bring the best to the graduate student body - great as a resume builder!
