Coming as a group to this incubator might be the heart and soul of what we're wishing for here.
One of our true desires for offering this 2 month experience is to support the birth of more intentional communities and groups of people into the world. As a group that's already familiar with each other you might already have a platform to build upon. We want to give you all the tools we've learned around community building as well as the space and structure to support you to grow as a communal being, have a blast together and learn deeply. Our hopes are that you can walk onward knowing what your next steps are with more clarity both as individuals and as a group.
In our own experience the road to build a new culture and community is one without a clear map. Honestly this has been both super exciting and sometimes exhausting. The more support and collaboration we can create for ourselves and our other camps during this experience, the more hope and ease we can create for our future selves. We wish for this experience to help build momentum and a trust based from the experience that we as cohesive groups can do challenging things together.
A Note on Camps
Camps can gather around specific themes or topics, like the one's below.
Some Potential Camp Themes (for inspiration of themes, obviously the camp names can be more creative and fun)
- Permaculture camp
- Movement Camp
- Natural Building Camp
- Conscious Communication Camp (Communicamp?)
- Nature Reconnection camp
or camps can gather around a group of people wanting to practice living together with specific visions and values. This might be living on an eco-village or designing a co-housing experience after community lab etc. In that case, a camp name would be a totally unique name to your group.
Who knows what will happen after these months. Maybe some camps will end up being sister communities in the future or one of the camps will eventually buy a piece of land and host the rest of us for a period. We look forward to the magic unfolding in front of us.
Please take some time here to give us some of your interest in the incubator so we can get to know you a bit better. We would recommend each of you filling it out for yourselves so you can already start to feel yourself stepping into your own visions about what might happen and get excited. As we are still building our full application and website, we'll send you all an email when the applications come out and there will be a lot more info to support you. We will work closely with one or two delegates from your camp to support the organization and logistics for the rest of your camp.
