Join us on the mountain this summer as a volunteer! Our camp depends on an incredible group of volunteers to make a difference in the lives of our campers, and we are very grateful for your interest in serving. We are seeking volunteers who are committed to our mission and vision, committed to following policies and procedures, and prioritizing the safety and well-being of our campers.

In addition to this application, every volunteer will need to have a health form and references on file, complete a background check and online abuse prevention training, and attend in-person and online volunteer training sessions. Once you submit your application, it will be reviewed by our leadership team, and an interview will be set up.

Pilgrim Pines Mission and Vision Statement:

Mission: Events hosted at Pilgrim Pines Camp and Conference Center, a ministry of the United Church of Christ, affirms persons of all ages, sexes, genders, gender expressions, sexual orientations, racial or ethnic backgrounds, socio-economic positions, intellectual, developmental, emotional, and physical abilities or religious affiliation. Pilgrim Pines is situated on the side of a mountain, at a high elevation with steep paths throughout camp, even between cabins and meeting places. All volunteers are required to have a current background check on file with the Conference, and to take an abuse prevention training course online. Forms and information will be sent to you once you've been accepted into the volunteer program. Please be ready to return these promptly so that your application can be processed. Clergy with authorized standing in the SCNC UCC do not need to provide references or background check, but still need to complete the online abuse prevention training course.
