Share Your Story: Have you been impacted by changes in donor sperm regulations in NSW or Queensland?

We are hearing about an emerging situation with donor regulations in NSW and Queensland affecting LGBTQ+ people looking to start or grow their family.

In NSW the donor limit has been reduced to 5 women worldwide which has led to clinic recruited donor sperm being nearly impossible to access.

In Queensland the government has incorrectly interpreted the law to mean that a same sex couple is counted as two families, not one for calculating donor family limits.

Rainbow Families Australia has been actively advocating on both of these issues but we need your help. If you are directly affected by either of these situations we would like to hear from you. We'd like to know the extent of the issue so that we can use this information to advocate for change. The experiences collected in this survey may be used in a letter or report during this advocacy work.
