ABOUT THE WORKSHOPS
OFFERING. OPEN. ORGANIC----
Jan 25 - Feb 15, Fridays 5-7pm at Open Flight Studio (U.DISTRICT)
All levels, media, bodies, ages, genders...all humans welcome.
---Movement Research---
A soft ritualized somatic process.
We'll build vulnerability and trust. And then as we share, we will also heal.
This workshop will be an organic, loose, container for your movement and creative research.
Ideal for artists looking to soften their judgments & grow their playfulness.
We'll play deeply and kindly with our bodies. We'll break the rules with feathers.
Let's discover new ways of working that don't undo us, shatter or injure us.

QUIET. QUEST. INQUIRY----
Jan 27 - Feb 17, Sundays 12-2pm at Theater Puget Sound, 4th floor of the Armory, Seattle Center (QUEEN ANNE)
All levels, media, bodies, ages, genders....all humans welcome
---Embodied Post-Disciplinary: Writing. Moving. Drawing. Reading. Somatics---
We'll begin with a somatic warmup to tune into our inner spaces. A quiet reflective space.
Bring your notebook and wear layers. If you have a yoga mat that'd be nice too.
Tapping the quiet to find playfulness, we'll explore our inner spaces. Using various eyes-closed practices
we'll feel our way toward our own interior and access deep imagination.
Alternating between body, writing, drawing and our breath our inquiry will emerge.
For those who've attended WALLEYE this will be related work.
We'll be using embodiment and all kinds of mediums and practices,
our quest will unfold.

PLUMAGE. PLATYPUS. PROCESS---
Jan 28 - Feb 18, Mondays 4-6pm at Yaw Theater (GEORGETOWN)
All levels, media, bodies, ages, genders....all humans welcome
★★★ Because we will be sharing our works-in-progress each time,
ONLY 6 PARTICIPANTS WILL SHARE WORK....
DROP-INS MUST EMAIL: plastiqartscreative@gmail.com
>>>>if you're interested in taking this workshop to DEEPEN YOUR FEEDBACK
but might not be sharing works-in-progress, again email: plastiqartscreative@gmail.com
----WORKS-IN-PROGRESS PEER-REVIEW. FEEDBACK PROCESSES---
We'll share works-in-progress & our creative processes together. We'll give and receive useful + reflective feedback
in a peer-review atmosphere of mutual support. Each session we'll do some writing from prompts and work together to articulate our aesthetic points of view. In this workshop you will receive feedback and generate a juicy list of questions for your ongoing inquiries. We'll work in an environment of skill-sharing & community
FOR THOSE WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED: Studio Current's Plumage or a FieldSession, this will be a similar workshop.
