We're searching for coaches to support students 1-on-1 as they organize on campus to reject ICE & authoritarian attacks on our rights, speech & funding! Ideally, a mentor is someone who:
- Has recent campus/student organizing experience and has strategically escalated & built capacity to win campaigns/demands, and can share that experience;
- Understands authoritarian practices, how to organize under them, creative action strategies/tactics (esp. those that apply in a campus/student organizing context) and can share that info 1-on-1; and,
- Knows how to agitate student leaders to understand their self interest, what’s at stake, and help them meet the outreach/recruitment/absorption goals they set.
Our goal is for students to have the support they need to overcome challenges, and base-build strong student contingents for national days of action/mobilization and mass-noncooperation to coordinate with wider anti-authoritarian organizing efforts.
