The Yearning Youth Debate Series (YYDS) is a collection of best and most exquisite student-led debate competitions founded by a group of enthusiastic debaters with the aim to promote the craft of argument and critical thinking. Inspired by the Yoder Youth Debate Society (YYDS)—a student-focused debate club—the project aims to make World Schools and British Parliamentary debating styles accessible to more individuals. By sponsoring high-level debate competitions, we wish to encourage the debaters of the next generation and thinkers—to equip them with the instruments necessary to address tough problems and plead for transformation in an evolving world.

[Our registration Phases]
🍁 Phase 1: Teams & judges slot request [CURRENT PHASE]
Each institution representative requests a team slot. Only one person in each institution needs to fill out this form.

🍁 Phase 2: Payment confirmation
Once a team slot is granted, the team captain will be notified by e-mail on payment details. After completing the payment as instructed, the team captain should confirm inform the organizer using the phase 2 form. Please note a team slot is only secured upon the organizer’s confirmation of payment.

🍁 Phase 3: Speaker details
After the payment has been confirmed, individual speakers on the team should submit their personal detail form independently.
