Join us for our 2nd Annual "TRY SKATING- Girls Summer Series" for girls ages 5-12 to try skating, build confidence, have fun, meet friends, and win prizes! (limited spots, sign up early!)

WHAT: On-ice skating games, push-carts, music, hockey sticks, races and fun with EPHA girl hockey helpers (parents can watch from the stands)!  We’re inviting girls of ALL ABILITIES (welcoming brand-new skaters) to learn to skate. Post-event meet & greet, free snacks, prizes, crafts, hair tinsel stations, ice cream, puppies, princesses and much more! 

(Arrive early to get ready to skate, 1 hour on ice, followed by off-ice activities for 20-25 minutes, then pick up your participant's gift-bag and see ya next time).

WHAT DO I NEED: Bring a big smile, great attitude, and willingness to try something new. Figure skates will be available FREE of charge (great to use as a beginner skater), hockey skates also welcome at all events. As long as you have a helmet on, you’re good to go (hockey helmet or bike helmets ok). Hockey equipment is optional. Snowpants, winter gloves, and a sweatshirt work for us if it works for you.

WHEN: One session per month starting in May, June, July and August (Summer 2025).  All sessions will involve basic skating, small stations, on-ice games, music & fun, with the opportunity to try out hockey sticks, shoot pucks, and use hockey equipment if interested (available at the July & August sessions at no charge). 

WHO: GIRLS ages 5-12 new to skating.  Brand new skaters sign up below (current EPHA skaters can come join the fun too, bring a friend and jump out on the ice- no sign up necessary!).
