BikeFest features bike rides for all ages and skill levels, live music, food trucks and craft beer, a “Kidical Mass” ride and bike rodeo, safety and skills workshops, BMX stunt shows, and an old-school bike swap meet. This event has quickly become a cornerstone of spring in the Napa Valley. Bike Fest coincides with National Bike Month, a chance to showcase the many benefits of bicycling, and encourage more in our community to give life on two wheels a try.

With planning and construction of the Napa Valley Vine Trail moving ever forward, we want to give BikeFest attendees a chance to ride along one of the most scenic segments of the trail - and learn a little more about the organization behind this project. A casual ride appropriate for all ages, this 7.5 mile out-and-back ride is mostly flat, and primarily along the Class 1 bike path. While at Kennedy Park, riders will receive a brief overview of the Vine Trail project, including updates on programs, events, and future construction along the 47-mile long route.
The Vine Trail Ride will leave from the Oxbow Commons at 10am on Saturday, May 6th. All riders will be required to fill out a waiver. This FREE ride is limited to 50 participants.
Note: A short segment of this ride will be along city streets, so we ask that all attendees obey all rules of the road. Anyone under the age of 18 will be required to wear a helmet.
