The Moe Seaman Award is presented to an individual who truly exemplifies the volunteer
spirit. Moe was an active member from 1955 to 1993, president of the Calgary Curling Club from
1989-1990, served on the Board of Directors for 11 years, and generously volunteered his time to
the Club.
Calgary Curling Club Affiliation:
The Nominee must be a member of the Calgary Curling Club or one of its Associate Leagues.
Volunteerism:
This award is to recognize an individual who has significant involvement in volunteer activities
at the Calgary Curling Club within the past year and has gone above and beyond to exemplify
the volunteer spirit.
Nominations:
Anyone can nominate any individual for this award.
Support for nominations should include not just what they do but how they do it and the ways
they make an impact to having a positive and inclusive curling community at the Club.
Deadline for the submission of nominations is July 15th 2026 12:00pm.
All nominations will receive a response and the successful Nominee
will be notified. Presentation of the award will take place annually at the Calgary Curling Club
Past Presidents’ Dinner.
