2014 AOIC Interpreter Certification program
To assist the Illinois circuit courts with providing qualified interpreters, the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts (AOIC) is launching a statewide certification program for interpreters with native-like proficiency in English and a second language. To be registered or certified on the AOIC's upcoming interpreter registry, candidates will have to attend an orientation and pass written and oral exams. The orientation sessions in October, November and December 2014 will offer information about the interpreting profession, the code of interpreter ethics and modes of interpreting.

The AOIC would like to take a preliminary survey of interested attendees for planning purposes. We would greatly appreciate your response. Thank you.
