RSVP for Talks by Priyank Chandra and Lindsay Blackwell
MISC will host Priyank Chandra and Lindsay Blackwell from the School of Information to give MISC talks on April 18 (Mon.), noon-1pm, in NQ 3100. Priyank will share his work on the warez scene, known for removing copy protection from software and releasing it for free, and use the CPR framework to analyze this Internet subculture. Lindsay will discuss her work on LGBT parents' use of social media and its implication on how to support their online disclosures practices. Please help forward this announcement to anyone who might be interested!

Light lunch will be provided, please let us know if you will be there (so that we know how much food to prepare!).
