Web Analyst
PureWow is a rapidly-growing digital media company that delivers women’s lifestyle content to elevate the everyday. We are seeking a Web Analyst for the New York City office.

The company is laser focused on audience growth and is seeking a data-driven individual to draw actionable insights from web and customer data to optimize our online product, content strategy, and campaign proposals.

This role is tasked with helping the company make smart, fast decisions to maximize potential for growth. Understanding of business goals for interpretation and communication of recommendations is key.

This role will live within the Data subset of the Audience Development team and will work very closely with Editorial, Marketing, Product and Sales. Communication, passion, drive and analytical prowess are key characteristics that will help the individual thrive in this environment.

-Establish and maintain clear insightful reporting on key performance metrics. Dig in, analyze, and draw actionable insights from the data to optimize our online content and product strategies.
-Develop efficiencies in reporting templates that enable you to quickly provide on-the-fly stats and reports as needed.
-Work closely with the Product and Tech teams to ensure the site is tagged for accurate and meaningful analytics. Ensure the same for all future product developments.
-Assist the channel marketers (Email and Social) with insight requests as required.
-Communicate action items to key stake holders based on in-depth analysis and research.
-Provide timely CRM data to facilitate Sales and Sales Marketing in the creation of client proposals and post-sales inquiries
-Act as an intermediate between Sales and Marketing to provide on-going campaign reporting and insights.
-Identify business critical functions to measure, track, and segment in order to improve user retention and engagement.

-This role will be measured on the key performance metrics which directly drive our top business goals.
-Growth of total users and reach on PureWow.com

-The ideal candidate will have 2+ years experience in analysis for data-driven content and/or product strategies for a B2C media brand.
-High proficiency in Google Analytics is an absolute must.
-Experience in analysis of online media preferred
-Familiarity with Data Management Platform and CRM data preferred
-Basic understanding of database systems
-Strong analytical skills: comfortable working with numbers and seeing through data to find conclusions
-Strong communication skills: able to clearly explain findings in a understandable way
-Strong Math skills: able to create projections/estimates on historical data
-Highly organized and detail oriented
