The Market at The Family Room is a Locally Grown and Locally Produced Market celebrating all the best products from Maryland! The Market offers makers, farmers, artists and craftsmen an opportunity to sell directly to our TFR community. 

We are always looking for a variety of local artists and craftspeople with unique handcrafted items to join the Market!

Market Vendor Information & Rules
Please make sure your presentation, actions, product selection and language reflect the family/community-centered environment The Family Room strives to provide. If The Family Room or customers encounter a vendor that does not align with our TFR standards, TFR reserves the right to terminate that vendor's agreement.

- Vendor Spaces are $55 each per market except for the Holiday Market which is $75. Payment is due upon approval. A link for online payment will be provided in your approval email.

- Vendor Spaces are limited to (one) 10 x 10 space unless a vendor requests and purchases additional space.

- All vendors are required to bring their own tent and 25lb weights to anchor their tents. This is mandatory. If you do not have weights, you cannot set up a tent. If you do not have a tent you cannot vend at the Market. Damages and/or injuries caused by a tent that is not secure are the responsibility of the tent owner. The Family Room is not liable for any damages and/or injuries by unsecured tents.

- Vendors are responsible to bring their own setup needs, WiFi and forms of payment for market day. 

- TFR has a predetermined allotment of vendor spaces and will limit the amount of vendors in each category. Vendors are hand selected by the TFR team and vendor spaces are preassigned the week of the market.

- The Market Manager and TFR reserve the right to terminate any/all vendor agreements for whatever reason at any time.

- Market fees are used for any and all administrative costs. Additionally, fees are used to advertise and promote the Markets with social media posts, signs, banners, flyers, etc. They are also used for free events for the community to enjoy (ie. live musicians) and other fun family community based activities to enhance the Market Days. Market fees are non refundable - no exceptions. If you are unable to participate in a market we will do our best to reschedule you.

- Vendors are responsible for promoting Market Days on their social media accounts. Vendors are required to have a designated social media account and website for their business. Vendors must post a minimum of three (3) times for each market they are participating in - including 1 feed post between Monday and Wednesday and 2 story posts between Monday and Friday the week of the event. If a vendor fails to help promote the event on social media, they may not be invited back to The Market at The Family Room. All vendors are provided with a social media package to make it very accessible and easy to share about the event.

- Vendors are responsible for clean-up of their assigned space and removal of their own trash.  

- Vendors are required to reserve both the market date and the rain date for any markets that they are approved for and participating in. If a vendor fails to reserve both dates, they may not be invited back to The Market at The Family Room.
