As an apprentice, you will be a part of String and Shadow's small build crew, working closely with our directors and other skilled artists who help build the show each year. You will learn all the techniques we use to build a giant puppet show, including (but not limited to) cardboard sculpture, paper-mache sculpture, set design, puppet articulation & rigging, and more.
This 10-week apprenticeship will run from
April 25th to June 27th.Studio days are from 10am-5pm (with a break for lunch) at our studios at The Olympia Family Theater in downtown Olympia, Washington.
This apprenticeship comes with a stipend of $1000
