CSUF LGBTQIA+ Ally Training
The mission of Cal State Fullerton’s LGBTQ Ally Training program, hosted by the Losquadro Keller LGBTQ Resource Center, is to educate students, staff, and faculty about various aspects of gender and attraction. The training program provides participants with the opportunity to learn more about social identities, current issues, LGBTQIA+ affirming practices, and skills to take action to create more equitable and inclusive spaces on our campus and in their everyday. After attending the training, participants are eligible to receive an LGBTQ Ally sticker and commit to being on the CSUF LGBTQ Ally roster. Participants will:

1) To develop an understanding of gender identity, gender expression, sex assigned at birth, sexual attraction, and romantic attraction

2) Develop awareness of issues faced by the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual (LGBTQIA) community.

3) Identify behaviors, actions, and resources you can engage in to practice allyship and create a safer space for LGBTQIA+ Titans

4) Reflect on your personal knowledge and experience about gender and attraction

The next LGBTQ Ally Trainings will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2025 and March 10, 2025 from 9am - 12pm via Zoom. A condensed version is also being offered April 16, 2025 from 10:00am - 11:00am. Please note that attending the condensed version will not qualify you to receive our LGBTQ+ Ally Sticker. Registrants will receive an email confirmation with a unique zoom link to attend the training prior to our meeting date.
