We are excited to introduce a new option for students considering graduate studies to be mentored by someone who has completed their program of interest or is currently studying in their field of interest. You will see the questions on our 2018/2019 mentor application reflect this addition.
The outcomes of the Harry G. Schaefer Mentorship Program are as follows: Mentors- Gain practical mentorship related experience- Increase leadership and communication skills- Increase mentors’ sense of connection with MRU
Mentees- Gain practical career-related support (ex. networking, job search strategies, interviewing skills, etc.) - Increase confidence in transitioning from MRU into career or graduate program of study- Connect with someone in their desired degree program/industry
If you have any questions regarding your application please email email@example.com or call 403.440.8754.
This form is for prospective mentors only. If you would like to work with a mentor, please use the Mentee application form at mru.ca/mentee.
