Thank you for your interest in our archival collections. The Glenn Curtis Smoot Library and Archives welcomes researchers to conduct first-hand research into the history of the Chippewa Valley. The Library and Archives are home to thousands of photographs, manuscripts, books, oral histories, research files, and more, which provide insight into a wide variety of historical subjects.
By filling out the following Research Request Form, you help ensure that Chippewa Valley Museum staff best serve your research needs. After reviewing the form, CVM staff will contact you within two business days to schedule an appointment in the library. (Appointments will be scheduled between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday, depending on staff availability.)
Chippewa Valley Museum members and students with a valid student ID may conduct research at no additional cost. Researchers who are not members or students will be asked to pay a fee of $10/hour to support our ongoing preservation efforts.
By submitting this form, you agree to abide by the Chippewa Valley Museum’s Research and Collection Use Guidelines during your research visit: www.cvmuseum.com/PDFs/2016_Research_and_Collection_Use_Guidelines.pdf
