From silly to spooky, big or small, let’s see the best Halloween yard displays of all!
Decorate your yard in a fall or Halloween theme and be entered for a chance to win gift cards to local Ortega businesses.
Contest Rules & Details:
- Who can enter? Homes in the Ortega area. Those neighborhoods can include Ortega, Ortega Forest, Venetia, Ortega Hills, Ortega Farms, and Lakeshore.
- Deadline to enter: Submit your entry form by Wednesday, October 15th. Only 10 homes will be selected to compete and those homeowners will be notified by October 20th.
- Themes: Yards may feature any fall theme — from pumpkins and scarecrows to spooky Halloween displays. We will have three categories this year: Best Overall Display, Spookiest, & Most Creative.
- Voting: Neighbors can visit the decorated yards in person and vote for their favorite from October 20th–November 1st. All participating addresses will be included on the Ortega Spooktacular Showdown Tour Map (released October 20th) and have a sign in their yard to show your yard is competing.
- Winners: The yard with the most votes in each category will win a gift card to a local Ortega business. You can only win one category and gift cards will range form $50 - $200 in value. Prizes are being finalized now.
