Which Pharmacies should be protected?
The NHS is planning to reduce funding to pharmacies whilst it is also placing greater reliance on them in order to reduce pressure on Surgeries and Hospitals! The changes could mean that our local pharmacies are under threat; however a pharmacy is "protected" if it is more than one mile from the pharmacy nearest to it; SAPG believes this is too restrictive.
