Auditions for current and incoming UW Students wishing sing in an ensemble for the 2019-20 school year will take place on Monday, September 23 and Tuesday, September 24th, 2019 from 9:00-4:00pm in Rm. 213 of the School of Music. Auditions are required for three of the ensembles - Chamber Singers, UW Chorale, and the Recital Choir - but an audition will help you know what ensembles may be a good fit and you can definitely sing in more than one choir at UW!

There will be a short sight-reading assessment as part of the audition and you are asked to prepare a short selection to sing - it can be a cappella or accompanied and no specific level of genre, formality or complexity is required. We will vocalize you and learn a little bit about your voice type.
