Spiritual Ecology Leadership Program February - August 2019
Aims:
To support and resource 8 - 10 emerging young leaders and innovators from diverse faith and cultural backgrounds, who recognise the need to create communities that are rooted in the shared spiritual values of interconnectedness, reverence for nature, stewardship, compassion and service. By connecting young leaders to each other and to their place through spiritual and ecological practices, we aim to increase a sense of belonging and unity across different groups.

The program is an initiative of CERES Community Environment Park, in collaboration with major partner Initiatives of Change Australia (IofCA).

There are 3 main phases of the program, participants must be available to attend all program activities.

1. Participation in a 4-day Spiritual Ecology retreat in the Otways National Park
Feb 14th - 17th 2019.

2. Toolkit Development and Mentoring Workshop series
Workshop 1 - Sat 16th March (CERES)
Workshop 2 - Sat April 13th (IofC Centre)
Workshop 3- Sat May 18th (CERES)
Workshop 4 - Sat June 15th (IofC Centre)
(9am - 5pm
Public Dialogue Forum- Sat 27th July

Receive support to develop design and deliver a community project using Human Centred Design. Along with group facilitation training, storytelling/values based communication, collaboration and leadership skills.

Receive ongoing mentoring and support by both religious/spiritual and ecology practitioners.

3. Public Presentation - August
Final presentation and open dialogue forum where you will utilise new skills , share your projects concepts, and increase public engagement in the discourse around spirituality and environmental action.

18 - 35 age bracket. Applications close January 28th 2019, successful applicants will be notified by the 5th of February 2019.
