Los Altos Hacks Workshop Mentor Registration
We hope that you are all staying safe at home and coping with the COVID-19 pandemic. Many students and aspiring programmers are turning this difficult situation into an opportunity to learn something new from home. To compensate for the postponement of Los Altos Hacks V, our organizing team is planning a 2-hour online workshop where attendees will learn to build their first website with HTML and CSS! We will need mentors who have experience in basic web design to help our attendees with their websites via Zoom.
How will the workshop be held?
The workshop will be held on June 7, 2020 from 2 PM to 4 PM PST. Registrants will be invited to a Zoom session, where they can interact with mentors via breakout rooms. The workshop will also be live-streamed on YouTube, where an attendee can follow along if he or she is lost in the process. Each mentor will be assigned to a breakout room to work with a small number of attendees (2-4). The content of the workshop is basic HTML and CSS, so mentors should have some expertise in this area.
