In this free musical workshop, participants will discuss and practice the artistic and technical process involved in

WHAT TO EXPECT
~ Skill Development: We will practice strategies for taking a song from pre-production to a finished master, using original examples from instructors and participants.
~ Hands-on Experience: Participants will actively engage in tasks on stage collaboratively, such as setting up microphones, operating digital audio workstations (DAWs), and running recording sessions. Attendees may also just observe if that is preferable.
~ Aesthetic & Critical Listening: We aim to help participants develop a critical ear and an informed aesthetic vision to make creative decisions that serve the artist's vision at a highly technical level.
~ Community & Mentorship: We will provide opportunities for attendees to ask questions, receive feedback, and learn "tricks of the trade" from professionals for each stage of producing a song.
