Dorey Park Farmers Market Volunteer Application
Dorey Park Farmers Market is open 9am to noon, every Saturday (rain or shine), June through October. We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help with Special Events and our children’s POP Club.

Dorey Park Farmers Market's mission is to provide Henrico citizens with easy access to fresh and nutritious local produce, and other high quality products produced by local farms and small businesses. We encourage and support local growers, farmers and other producers as well as promote good health & nutrition, environmental stewardship and agriculture education through community outreach efforts. We believe that these principles will ultimately build a greater community.

DPFM is located at Dorey Park in heart of Eastern Henrico County. This beautiful park has a little bit of everything - a fishing pond, dog park, sports fields, an equestrian center, playgrounds, picnic pavilions and it also spurs off the Virginia Capital Trail.
Duties including but not limited to:
Special Events:
• Help with set up and break down of the market - setting up or breaking down tents, staking signs, setting up tables and cleaning up the market area.
• Assist the welcome table - greeting market goers and answering questions.
• Ensure COVID-19 guidelines are being adhered to.

POP Club:
• Preparing the take home craft bags with market funded items.
• Handing out crafts to children at the market.
• As COVID-19 guidelines are lifted, increase our POP Club presence with prepared tastings, games and activities.
