The STARs - Nomination Form 2019
Nominations are now open for The STARs 2019, highlighting the achievements of our amazing student-led societies at YUSU this academic year!

Designed to celebrate the achievements and successes of our incredible YUSU-ratified societies, the STARs were inaugurated by former Student Activities Officer Mikey Collinson in 2018. This year, we’ve upped the ante - not only will we be presenting awards some groups have earned throughout the year via the STAR Counter, but we’ve added new awards so you can shout about all the amazing things your Society and executive Committee have done this year!

You’ve got the opportunity to nominate your Society from now until Tuesday 14th May at 2pm. Nominations will then be judged by the Societies Committee, and presented at this year’s prestigious STARs Awards Ceremony on Saturday 8th June from 7pm in the Roger Kirk Centre on campus. Anyone can come to the awards - but if nominated, your Society will receive a VIP invitation!

Take a look at all our award categories this year below, and scroll down to nominate your group(s) and book seats for what’s sure to be an incredible night of celebration.

Please check out the entry criteria, and remember, you’ve got to be in the race to win the race!

NOMINATIONS WILL CLOSE: Tuesday 14th May, 2pm

You can also book your seats for you and your members at the end of the nomination form.
