WHAT IS HYDAC?
Our youth advisory council is a group of young people of all abilities, between the ages of 14 - 29 years. We believe that we can make a difference in our communities and Halton region. our goal is to empower young people to have a voice, to influence, to encourage participation, build awareness and acceptance. individually, we each have something important to offer and as a group we can learn and grow, creating positive change that will benefit everyone around us.
WHAT ARE SOME OF THE BENEFITS?Resume - networking - sharing resources - learning new things - motivating and supporting each other - talking about problems and finding solutions - creating awareness - encouraging inclusion - acceptance - social opportunities - learning new things - being a part of change.

HOW LONG IS A MEETING?60 minutes - one hour and 30 min social.

Dedication to change is important. In order to make change, we need to be able to rely on each other as a team. As a member of HYDAC it is required to attend meeting regularly,
