Small Umbrella Theatre Company’s mission is to create extraordinary theatre to better the Springfield community. We are seeking Non-Equity performers. Small Umbrella believes in diversity and representation in casting and encourages actors of all ethnicities, races, gender identities, ages, and body types, as well as performers with disabilities, to audition.
Actors will be paid a stipend of $100.00. A limited number of professional stipends are given as well.

Auditions are in secret. And then the cast becomes top secret information...even to each other! Cast members rehearse one-on-one with our team then at the show, actors arrive and “sit” in the audience until their first line gets them out of their seat and on stage where we see the story unfold literally for the first time.This innovative one night only show is something you don't want to miss!
 
Summary of Show:
RENT tells the story of a group of young artists struggling to survive and create a life in Lower Manhattan's East Village in the thriving days of bohemian Alphabet City, under the shadow of HIV/AIDS.

Location: 1551 E Portland St, Springfield, MO 65804 (Westminster Presbyterian Church)
Callbacks: There will be no Callbacks for this production.

Prepare 16 Bar Dance Combo available online. (Available 1 Week PRIOR)
