NAMI Tennessee 2018 Convention Workshop Proposal Form
The 32nd Annual NAMI Tennessee state convention will be held September 27-28, 2018 at the Inn at Opryland in Nashville. Our theme this year is "Mental Illness Affects Everyone: Learn, Share, Hope." This theme will be used as a common thread to connect our workshops, panels, and speakers.

Workshops will be 90 minutes in length and may be presented by individuals or panels of up to three presenters. Workshop moderators will be provided by NAMI Tennessee. We encourage workshop speakers and submissions that represent the full range of the impact of mental illness regardless of race, sex, age, belief, financial condition, education, sexual orientation, family, consumer, or professional status.

Workshop proposals will only be accepted through this electronic portal. The deadline for proposal submissions is 5:00 Pm Central on Friday, June 15.

PLEASE NOTE:
NAMI Tennessee's mission is accomplished largely through the efforts of dedicated grass-roots volunteers. We are generally unable to provided workshop presenters with honorarium, lodging, mileage reimbursement, or meals (outside of food provided during the convention.) Convention workshops are intended to provide participants with factual, general information and should not be used to solicit clients, promote or sell specific products, brands, supplements, treatments or medications.
