ACTOR AUDITION PROCESS

MANDATORY:

11/5 and/or 11/6 Dance Workshop during FLEX

• You MUST attend one but you MAY attend both

• Wear clothes you can comfortably dance in

• Wear character shoes or jazz shoes

11/12 Dance Call in the Dance Room (sign up for a time slot at bit.ly/MPDANCEAUD)

• If you have an open 7th, you will go from 3 pm to 3:45 pm

• Otherwise, the second group will run 4 pm to 5 pm

• Wear clothes you can comfortably dance in

• Wear character shoes or jazz shoes

11/13 & 11/14 Vocal Call in the Choir Room (sign up for a time slot at bit.ly/MPVOCALAUD)

• If you have an open 8th, please sign up in the early slots

• Come prepared with an 18-bar cut and prepared backing track of a song in the style of the show: think classic Disney/Golden Age Musical Theatre

• You may use one of the songs provided!

• Dress “audition professional”

• Wear character shoes if you can

The callback list will be posted to the Remind @poppinsaud by 9 pm on Thursday,  November 14th.

11/15  Callbacks in the Theater from 4 pm until you are released 

• We will release students as we go.

TABLE READ& COMPANY MEETING:

11/18  Table Read in the Choir Room from 4 pm - 7:00 pm

• All cast & designers will be called to the mandatory table read.

There will be a MANDATORY Parent & Company Meeting immediately following the Table Read on Monday, November 18th at 7:00 pm
