STREAM Summer Camp Waitlist 2019
We're excited about hosting the 2nd Annual STREAM Summer Camp this year for students here in the Franklin County School District! STREAM stands for Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, and Math, and the Franklin County School District is continuing to enhancing this program as it is a district focus area. STREAM Summer Camp will offer 4 differing grade and focus clusters: K-2 Arts, 3-5 Science, 6-8 Technology, and 9-12 Engineering. If space becomes available and you are contacted, your student will participate in the cluster based on his/her grade level as of this current school year (2018-2019).

STREAM Summer Camp will be a week-long camp, culminating with an all-day field trip on Friday. Campers will arrive each day (Monday-Thursday) at Franklin County High School at 8am and will depart at 12pm. (Guardians must arrange transportation for campers to and from camp each day.) Friday will entail an all-day field trip, and arrival and departure times may vary depending on field trip selected for each cluster. (Transportation to and from the field trip destination will be provided for campers.) Breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be provided throughout the week.

Prior to camp start, a mandatory meeting will be held on May 20, 2019, in the Franklin County High School Auditorium, beginning at 6pm. This meeting will cover basic logistics and the detailed itinerary for the week of your student’s attendance. **If you and your student are given notice of attendance past this date, the meeting will obviously not be required of you, but you must refer to the STREAM Summer Camp Facebook Page for the information covered at the meeting as it will answer the majority of the potential questions you may have.
