First Gen Community Conversation

When: Tuesday, November 5, 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM
Where: Library 215

Join faculty, staff and students during First-Gen Student Celebration Week as we brainstorm ideas to improve how we teach and serve first-generation students at SSU. Focusing particularly on the classroom learning environment, we aim to leverage the knowledge of our community, uncover needs and find practices that support our first-gen students. Small changes can make a big difference!  We'll plan to share what we generate with the wider community.

Timing-wise, you are welcome to join as you are able; we know some folks will need to come from or go directly to class.

Co-sponsored by SSU's Center for First Generation Student Success and Center for Teaching Innovation.
