Green Care Farms Community Days May 2023 Sign-Up
Volunteers needed! Calling all gardeners and supporters of Green Care Farms.

Green Care Farms is so excited to relaunch our program in Spring 2023! We have a lot of work to do before then and we would appreciate some wonderful volunteers to help us! Over the two community days below we will be focused on getting the Sensory Garden spruced up and ready for spring after a snowy winter.

We would love your help at one or both days, please come at a time that works for your household!

Community Day 1

Parking
There is ample parking at the farm, you will need to walk a bit to get to the Sensory Garden plot
(past the barn/storefront) down the lane to the right.

Attire
Please dress warmly for a day outside in clothes and footwear that can get muddy - time for those wellies! We will be working with some gardening tools (e.g. shovels) so please wear closed toed shoes (steel or hard tip if you have them). Please bring gloves and any favourite trusty gardening gear and don't forget to take it all with you at the end of the day!

Fuel
Bring water! There is no kitchen on the farm. We will have some light snack and drinks there but please eat first and bring a lunch box or cooler with food you need to sustain you or if you have special dietary needs.
